The Founder’s Story

Aventara’s story begins in a culturally rich town in Rajasthan, India, where I was born into a family of jewellers rooted in tradition. In our home, men ran the business while women managed the household — a dynamic that shaped my early understanding of expectations and roles.

Growing up in that environment made me aware, from a young age, that I wanted the freedom to define my own path. I knew I wanted a life shaped by choice, independence, and opportunity.

Breaking Free

As the eldest girl in my generation, I chose not to follow the traditional route. I moved to Delhi to build my own life, navigating hostels, paying guest accommodations, and the demands of student and professional life on my own. Those years built resilience, discipline, and ambition.

My journey eventually took me into the corporate consulting world and across borders, where I had to start over more than once. In high-pressure environments where women are still carving out space, I often felt the need to prove myself — to balance expectations while staying true to who I was becoming. That phase of my life was about growth, persistence, and learning to take up space with confidence.

Transformation

Over time, I realized my experiences were shared by many women around me. Conversations with friends and peers echoed the same themes — ambition, responsibility, and the constant effort to balance personal identity with external expectations.

In the middle of that fast-paced life, jewellery became something meaningful to me. Choosing and wearing a piece wasn’t just about style — it became a way to feel put together, confident, and connected to myself during demanding days. I saw how the right piece could shift how a woman carries herself.

That insight became the foundation for Aventara — a brand created to design jewellery that supports women in their everyday lives, not just special occasions.

Aventara is a labor of love, built alongside my family, who now share this vision with me. Together, we create demi-fine jewellery that is versatile, resilient, and thoughtfully crafted — pieces that move with women through work, life, and everything in between.
