A Note from Our Founder, Aditee Gupta

For 14 years, I built a career outside of my family's generations-old jewelry business and into the world of corporate consulting.

The motive was simple, and one that many women will understand: I wanted to prove myself. I wanted independence. I wanted to know, and show, what I was capable of.

In fact, I moved from India to Canada in pursuit of bigger opportunities, bigger challenges, and bigger dreams.

And while the countries changed, the cultures changed, and even the weather changed, one thing remained constant: the women around me.

They were balancing ten different things every moment but were never short on ambition, style, or presence. And I saw myself in them.

What we wanted was simple: pieces that fit into our lives and stay with us even when our lives change. The right pair of earrings that made you feel polished before a presentation. A necklace that worked just as well at dinner as it did in a meeting. Jewelry that wasn't time-consuming or ordinary but rather helped women feel like themselves, even on the busiest days.

That's when I stopped asking why I hadn't joined the family business and started asking how I could reinvent the legacy. Aventara was born from that vision, but it truly came to life when my brother, Devang, entered the picture.

I lead the creative direction; Devang keeps both the business and me grounded. Together, we combined two perspectives, a modern understanding of the women we design for and generations of jewelry craftsmanship behind every piece we create.

If any part of this story feels familiar, Aventara was created with you in mind. We hope our pieces become part of your story, too.

Inspired by the Sanskrit words Aventi (Light) and Tara (Guiding Star), our name is our promise: to celebrate your unique, authentic spark with quiet confidence and effortless grace.
